Kanonkop Estate

Kanonkop Estate is often referred to as South Africa’s closest equivalent to a French Premier Cru.

The winery, located just outside Stellenbosch, is truly beautiful and a visit is recommended, as is a visit to the Art Gallery. The absolute commitment to quality and the production of the best quality wines is unrelenting. Their Estate Pinotage is rare proof that this grape is capable of being crafted into wines of complexity and elegance. Their Paul Sauer is a polished and stylish Bordeaux blend, that frequently garners high scores from critics. Sadly, we get only a small allocation of this wine.
